Kate Rodger is Newshub’s Entertainment Editor and Film Reviewer, which has taken her all over the world covering film premieres and awards ceremonies, visiting movie sets, shooting interviews and filing stories. Kate is a passionate advocate of local film and filmmakers, pushing for mainstream broadcast and digital coverage of New Zealand cinema and has acted as a judge, host and ambassador for several local film competitions, festivals and awards evenings, including the 48Hour Film Festival, Show Me Shorts, Tropfest and the Documentary Edge Festival.

James is the founding partner of Previously Unavailable, working with organisations from early-stage start-ups to mature corporates, and co-founder to Tracksuit (brand health tracking SAAS) and AF Drinks. He is the author of several major data-driven marketing effectiveness studies including The Effectiveness Code (2020) with Cannes Lions and WARC, and The B2B Effectiveness Code (2021) with the LinkedIn B2B Institute and WARC. He has authored two books; The Case for Creativity (2015) and Future Demand (2022). James is also the programme director of the Master of Advertising Effectiveness, a global online professional development programme for marketing and advertising participants, with alumni including executives from Google, Amazon, Disney, and New York Times.

Jackie Brenneman​
Global Cinema Industry Strategist and Advocate
Jackie Brenneman is a founding partner of The Fithian Group, a global cinema industry consultancy that partners with the creative community, movie theater owners, leading research firms and innovators to bring custom, market-ready solutions to the marketplace. Prior to forming The Fithian Group, Jackie was Executive Vice President and General Counsel to the National Association of Theatre Owners. In those roles, Jackie was a frequent speaker and panelist at global exhibition events on the importance of data and optimism in shaping the narrative and future of the industry. During the pandemic she achieved $16.1 billion for venue-specific “Save Our Stages” COVID relief grants, with specific grants targeted for movie theater owners. She also formed the Cinema Foundation and acted as its founding President. In that role, she implemented first-ever National Cinema Day in the United States and oversaw the release of the inaugural State of the Cinema Industry Report. Jackie has been awarded the Top Woman in Global Exhibition (2023), Industry Figure of the Year (2022) and Ken Mason Award for achievement in cinema (2022).
